I’ve been a doula and childbirth educator for over 16 years. And I’ve been teaching the Hypnobirthing Australia Positive Birth Program for over 12 years. I have an undergrad in health science, a research masters in breastfeeding and a master of counselling.
I help mothers to feel calm and confident for their birth so they can have a positive experience welcoming their child into the world.
Hypnobirthing is a childbirth class with a difference. I will teach you how to reduce pain - not just how to cope with it. I teach you how your body and mind work in labour, relaxation techniques and psychological tools to help you maintain a positive mindset.
I also cover Medical options and decision making so you can confidently communicate with your care provider and navigate your uniques circumstances in labour.
Dads and partners also get so much out of the class because they learn how to important they are to the process - not just an accessory but integral in helping the mum to trust their body and feel emotionally safe. Partners love the practical class and hands on tools and the opportunity to ask questions and participate in meaningful discussions.
