I’m Deannah and I am a mum of 2 kids, aged 5 and 2.
I am a doula (and photographer) based in the Upper Hunter valley, specializing in birth and postpartum care. Before deciding on a career change to birth work, I was a social worker in the child protective field. Whilst this was a rewarding (and challenging) career, I found my passion for birth work after the birth of my second baby in late 2019.
After discovering my passion for all things pregnancy, birth and postpartum related, I began my journey to become a doula in 2020. I am passionate about supporting you and your partner in your journey through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.
