Pathways to Love: See yourself in this journey!

Hi! How are you? Being a doula for me is a calling that finally I decided to embrace as the main part of my life. I had been an academic and researcher of Human Science and STS studies for more than 20 years! If there is something that I know it is how tricky is to deal with science, scientists and the history of medicine.

But after I had an amazing VBAC (2008), I started to link theory and practice and the want of helping other women. My VBAC was the craziest 20 minutes at the hospital, but a long 2 week early labor, 3 hours moving in the pilates ball and learning how to be patient with me and others.

Now, honestly, I question myself why I went to the hospital. But at the time it was the safe option for everyone involved as it was the “trap of a unwanted C-Section” 6 years later, when I was only 25 years old. Here in Australia things are amazingly good for the ones that want a vaginal birth if we look for the Brazilian statistics.

I had been a volunteer doula since 2012, when I did my first training in São Paulo (Brazil) . During this period I could choose my clients by observing how much they really wanted a vaginal birth. Mostly one baby per year, until the pandemic time, when babies decided to show up more often.

I am now (2025) 49 years old and many young girls related to me as a safe and experience choice. Since I arrived in Sydney (2023) I did the Australian Doula Course – Nat Unit only and had my experiences. I became a Certified Body Ready Method@ pro. I learned a lot about dõTERRA oils as a way of connection to your inner self.
And finally I did the course of Pregnancy Massage Australia@ . and joined many collectives as the Doula Network.

Through the life, this years and trainings I developed my own method to approach the main topics of pregnancy and childbirth to give you the map of your road to maternity. We go from the deep to the shallow and from the physical to the spiritual, whatever is your believe. Have you heard about Hercules works? Yes, I am not only concerned about labor, despite loving to be a “birth detective” for babies positioning and movements we can do. As a doula, I do know that the moment of birth it is just a passage in something bigger. No, I am not a couch, I just have 20 years knowing how to debate, dialogue and interpret human beings and usually I learn a lot also. It’s a pathway, a journey but mostly your choices.

I expect to do my job long before birth to hold space for you and your family when baby comes. My birth package has 9 session, including one post partum. But we can have one free chat to see what is good for you and design accordingly to your needs, week of pregnancy and context of life.

One better and loved baby born in this world must do a change for the future.
