Hi, I am Tara
I am a Postpartum Doula supporting women in Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, and the Hunter Valley.
I started my business in 2023 and have been incredibly busy ever since!
I am a mother of 4 beautiful children with ages ranging from 13 years to 2.5 years.
I am passionate about caring for women. I provide practical and emotional support.
I collect groceries, do meal planning, light housework, laundry, baby care, offer foot soaks and massages, help with feeding challenges and bottle feeding and love baking delicious and nutritious snacks for the whole family. I am a bit of a private chef if you will.
I want to listen to you, ensuring you feel heard and seen, and also allow you the opportunity to have a hot shower, a hot coffee, and a hot meal, knowing your baby is being held and loved.
I look forward to meeting you and answering any questions you may have.

I am also offering a new Postpartum Doula course, with up-to-date 2025 information including 11 modules, covering everything you need to know about starting your business and being a successful Postpartum Doula. I am also offering monthly mentoring for doulas that are needing some extra support

Services

Postpartum Doula Support - Hourly

$40.00

$40/hour minimum 3 hours Includes: Debriefing your birth journey Listen to your concerns and offer much-needed emotional support Washing, drying, and folding laundry Collection of essential grocery items on the way Babywearing to allow mum and dad a break/nap Dinner/meal preparation Baking nutritious and delicious snacks including lactation cookies Baby setting techniques Breastfeeding support and advice Emptying household bins and nappy bins Ensuring you have fresh water and tasty healthy snacks Anything else you may need assistance with POSTPARTUM DOULA support As your postpartum doula, I will visit you at home during the first six weeks after birth with a focus on caring for you, allowing you to rest, recover and care for your baby. I'll bring experienced hands for assisting with your baby as well as helping out with light housework to ease the domestic burden. But most of all I come to listen, encourage, empower, reassure and be part of your village. This journey is not meant to be done alone.

Luxury Postpartum Package

$1,200.00

$1200 = 18 hours of postpartum support (Across 4/6/8 visits) Includes: Debriefing your birth journey Listen to your concerns and offer much-needed emotional support Washing, drying, and folding laundry Collection of essential grocery items on the way Babywearing to allow mum and dad a break/nap Dinner/meal preparation Baking nutritious and delicious snacks including lactation cookies Baby setting techniques Breastfeeding support and advice Emptying household bins and nappy bins Ensuring you have fresh water and tasty healthy snacks Anything else you may need assistance with Mummy's favourite breakfast on arrival on the first visit; (Bacon and Egg roll, Fresh Croissants with Jam) Along with mummy's favourite hot beverage; (Chai latte, flat white, hot chocolate, English breakfast tea) Lactation cookies provided for the week (or a loaf of delicious banana bread) Provision of a fruit and snack platter for mum each visit Stripping of mum and dads' bed and remaking with fresh sheets each visit Access to my library of books Use of Medela breast pump (When available) Text/phone support during the first 6 weeks postpartum.

Empowered birth - Prenatal Support Package

$750.00

Includes: 3 x 90min Pre-natal coaching and education sessions Individualised Birth Plan Text/Email/Phone support in the lead-up to your birth 1 Hour birth debrief 2 x 2 hour Postpartum visits Access to my library of books (Gentle Birth Gentle Mothering, Active Birth, Ina May's guide to childbirth, Womanly art of breastfeeding to name a few) Text/phone support during the first 6 weeks postpartum.
