Hi, I’m Jacquil – The Full Bloom Doula

I have a few roles but most importantly I am a passionate mother to my sweet daughter Louie, my reasoning behind everything I do. I also have a loving and dedicated partner, Bryce, of 9 years. My little family live in Geelong and we love exploring our little local beach towns, the delicious foods and coffee they have to offer. In my self care time you’ll usually find me having a solo dip on a hot night.

I previously studied music after years of singing lessons and wanting to explore music further. I’ve always been a lover of music and I would say music is my happy place (hence why it’s playing in my house just about 24/7). I come from a retail background but after becoming a mother I wanted to do more meaningful work and work that I am truely passionate about so I took the leap and became a postpartum doula.

Becoming a postpartum doula was quite an easy decision for me. To have the opportunity to nurture and nourish women as they go through matrescence is something I feel so deeply passionate about after experiencing postpartum myself.

I believe our journey into motherhood should not be done alone, instead we should have loved ones by our side to listen with a nonjudgmental ear and provide loving encouragement.

My goal when working with new/born mothers is to provide the continuity of care that all women deserve, simplify modern mothering, encourage you to do what brings you peace and joy and unlock your mothers intuition.
