The Bump & Beyond - Mumma's Companion

Hello, my name is Samantha Wilson. I am a mother of 4 wonderfully individual children, who I cherish everyday. I have recently redirected my skills set back towards a more nurturing career, refocusing on my Holistic Practice, ‘The Bump & Beyond – Mumma’s Companion’.

I have created ‘The Bump & Beyond – Mumma’s Companion’ concentrating on a business model that incorporates practical, formal and informal supports for Mumma’s during their pregnancy and after for families when at home with their Newborn.

I am passionate about ALL Mumma’s having access to affordable ‘goodness & greatness’ & believe ‘wellness’ should be available to everyone.

I am looking forward to commencing the Doula student pathway with Julie Clarke’s, Doula Practical Skills: What, where, when, how to support your client during labour. A great introduction as a student Doula which will complement my training as a Reiki Master, Remedial Massage, Certified Hypnotherapist and Psycho-social Healer (Bachelor of Social Science, Behavioral Science).

With many years experience working with women at risk within Intensive Family Support Intervention Programs, the NDIS and the Health Setting as a Patient Advocate I am excited to be upskilling so I can continue to provide and advocate for women within a soft, compassionate, nurturing space.

We also support NDIS participants by providing assistance in Coordinating or Managing Life Stages, Transitions and Supports. If your a Mumma to be.. or have just extended your family we can assist with mentoring, peer-support and individual skill development.

I am excited about this new career direction and cannot wait to not only learn from some amazing experienced women but to also utilise those learnings with Mumma’s here in Cairns FNQ.
